weblogic t3 thin client

Matthew Shaw

Hi All,

I’ve upgraded to karaf 4.1.2 from 4.1.1. I had wlthint3client.jar  on the karaf/lib folder and subsequent classpath and my bundle that was using it worked fine.

In the new version Idon’t seem to be able to load this jar at startup, and ideas?

Cheers,

Matt.

RE: weblogic t3 thin client

Matthew Shaw

Hi Christian,

Thanks for responding, I’ve been reading a lot of your blogs J

I solved the problem. Basically my setup is a bundle which is using the weblogic t3 protocol to communicate with a remote EJB2 from weblogic 10.3.6.

I put the wlthinteclient.jar on the karaf/lib folder and add the following to the karaf/etc/config.properties

#

# Extra packages appended after standard packages

#

org.osgi.framework.system.packages.extra = \

weblogic.jndi, \
   javax.ejb, \
   javax.rmi

Problem solved. Obviously jndi likes to use a thread based classloader, which is why I stick it in the system classpath. Hope this makes sense.

Cheers,

Matt.
